The Muslim Scouts – Baalbek Troop Organizes a Scouting Activity at AUS Secondary School – Baalbek

In an atmosphere of enthusiasm, discipline, and team spirit, the Muslim Scouts – Baalbek Troop organized a field scouting activity for the students of AUS Secondary School – Baalbek on Friday, 14 November 2025, with the aim of introducing the Scouting movement and instilling the values of order, cooperation, and service to the community in the students.

Introducing the Scouting Movement

The activity included an introductory segment in which the troop leaders presented an overview of:

  • The mission of the Scouting movement and its educational role in shaping the character of both boys and girls.
  • The Scout’s principles of commitment, belonging, and taking responsibility.
  • The importance of volunteer work and serving the local community.

Energetic segments and scouting drills

The students then moved on to a series of practical and interactive segments, including:

  • Teaching enthusiastic scouting chants that strengthened team spirit and attention.
  • Training on “al-Marsous” (lined-up formation) and how to stand in organized rows, with a focus on discipline and precision.
  • A rope game that combined fun, challenge, and team spirit.
  • Repeating multiple chants in which the students participated with noticeable enthusiasm, adding a special atmosphere to the activity area.

These segments were not just games, but practical educational tools that help reinforce order, cooperation, and self-confidence among the students.

Through these activities, the Muslim Scouts – Baalbek Troop sought to:

  • Strengthen the students’ sense of belonging to their school and community.
