Who can join us at the Baalbek troop of the Muslim Scouts?

Anyone could! Any citizen or resident can join us in the Baalbek Troop of Muslim Scouts in Lebanon. We welcome everyone with no discrimination based on race, color, ethnicity or belief. What we care about is helping each other to build a successful, harmonious society.

How can I join the Baalbek Troop of the Muslim Scouts?

You can join the Muslim Scouts through any age group!

What is our goal?

Baalbek Troop aims to develop the surrounding society by developing social, spiritual and citizenship values in its participants through activities, camps and events. These activities are coordinated, organized and held by leaders who are dedicated to their work.

What age groups are included in Scouts?

Baalbek Troop provides fun adventures and experiences for girls and boys, young men and women, as well as for men and women of all ages.

You can join from any age group you want!

Scout groups start from the youngest category that are Cub Scouts, aging from eight to 11 years.

Then the Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts category starts from 12 to 15 years old.

Moving along, the Venturers category ages from 16 to 17 years old.

And last but not least, the Rovers aging from 18 to 25 years old.

Our adult leaders and members of our Scout support our youth, coordinate activities and make the Scouting experience easier and full of adventure and happiness.

Does the Scout provide a safe space?

Helping others and protecting them are the most important basics of scouting. Therefore, the Baalbek Troop community and its activities are coordinated and implemented by the most professional and attentive leaders that provide a safe space for all age groups, and do not allow any possibility of physical or psychological harm to our participants.

What's in it for me?

Baalbeck troop offers endless experiences of self-reliance, independence and self-discipline. In addition to that, you can make many friends and have a lot of fun and happy moments and turn them into long-term memories. We have many activities that will help you in recreating yourself in addition to building yourself and developing your skills with joy. You can share your activities and volunteering work through the Scout in your CV and improve your chance of getting into the university that you want or nailing the job of your dreams!

Do I have to wear a Scout uniform?

It is known that the Scout is organized, so we usually see our participants in Scout clothing that expresses each individual and group of Scouts. However, it is not necessary to wear a scout shirt and collar for every activity. Each scout unit has the decision to stick to the scout dress according to their activities. However, it won't be long before you are proud to wear your Scouting uniform and enjoy it!

How much does it cost to join?

The cost of joining Baalbek Troop varies according to the activities implemented. Of course, the cost of camping activities differs from the cost of trips of all various destinations, whether they are near or far. Costs include food, beverages, and transportation requirements, among many others.
In addition to the activities, there is a monthly or annual subscription of every unit to support its activities.

What is the leader's job?

Our Troop is driven by its youth and supported and organized by adults. So, our volunteer leaders are young people who are eager to volunteer, parents eager to share their children's scouting experiences, and many trained teachers and educational specialists that strive to enhance their students life skills.
